Just wanted to give an update to this thread an my experience of the Climote Smart Immersion. This time last week we had our unit installed. Have to say the whole process has been really efficient and easy. From purchasing we used a web/app to have a survey done of our setup with clear questions to ascertain if it was suitable and uploading imagines of our setup as you go along. After which it was confirmed and the guys at Climote set about organising the installation and electricians visit.
The install was really easy and simple and replaced our old immersion unit. The temperature sensors were installed and all connected up. I was impressed by the level or detail the Installer had to go to to get the setup right. After about an hour and a half it was all done. The best part is that it was like the unit had always been there. Right from the get go it was simple to use, and schedule when we want it to come on. This has proved invaluable to be able to alter, based on the daily rates from agile. Also, being able to see how much water is in the tank has been fantastic as well as seeing the unit learn more and more each day as is measures our usage.
A great tool is the history which also shows the kWh consumption of the elements which has been really interesting and has encouraged us to use and heat the water only as we need it helping to reduce our daily usage. Really pleased with it so far!
